Examples of Supporting the Best Interest of the Community

• Only vote on Common Council against technology and mileage increase for elected officials. Protecting the financial burden on tax payers. 
• Only vote on Common Council against reducing child safety zone distance requirements for registered sex offenders. Safeguarding children and families.
• Postponed indefinitely expansion of city water into Hale Park Highlands. Protecting citizens from undue hardships. Citizens should not be forced to participate financially in a significant financial project that was not requested by the area.
• Continues to advocate for compliance with Franklin ordinances and municipal codes. Promoting protection to property values, quality of life and consistent enforcement of regulations.
• Encourages open discussions, evaluating issues and listening to citizen concerns to support positive community wide harmony. Promotes transparency, integrity and accountability in government.

Priorities

The pressing issues are ones that face all government, how can the government enrich the lives of the citizens without being an intrusive factor to the citizen’s lives? Businesses need to put down roots and expand, just like residents need to feel comfortable and supported in their choice of where to live regarding great education opportunities, safety, fiscal responsibility, and quality of life assurances. This is to promote that all members of the community are valued,  including businesses and residents that choose to call Franklin home.
